An all-round good weekend for Team Surrey at BUCS Outdoors this year - even the sun decided to surprise us and poke out from behind the clouds! A massive congratulations to all of our archers and a extra shout out to our novices, Ami and Afonso, for doing fantastically in their first head-to-head matches!

Team Surrey had an amazing time at BUTC this year with an amazing seeding round placing us in 5th seed for the Head to Heads, where our team made it all the way to the quarter-finals, only just narrowly losing to Birmingham!

First round vs Cambridge: Surrey won 12-1
Second round vs Nottingham Trent: Surrey won 13-6
Quarter-finals vs Birmingham: Birmingham won 12-9

We had some fantastic shooting from all of our archers at this year's BUCS Indoors Southern Qualifiers with Matt and Samson qualifying in the Men's Experienced Recurve, Edeline in the Women's Experienced Recurve, and Malin in the Women's Experienced Barebow. Also, some excellent shooting from our seniors secured a 3rd place position in the team rankings of this leg of Recurve SEAL!
