ARCHERY CLUB BADGES

Score badges can be earned by submitting 2 scored Portsmouth rounds over a certain score. All scores obtained in competitions the club has entered you in are automatically entered in our scores database and considered for badges. For any other scores, it is your responsibility to submit there using there for here if you wish for these scores to be considered and recorded. All badges must be awarded in order, from white to purple and scores are accounted for in order of submission.

Example scenario: Archer A has no badges and is a compound archer and has the following scores submitted: 509, 503, 470, 510, 520, 535.

For scores 509 and 503, Archer A will receive the white badge, because the scores are above 450, they will NOT directly receive the black badge, because Archer A does not hold any badges. Score 470 is now too low for a black badge so will be disregarded. For scores 510 and 520 Archer A will receive the black badge. Score 535 is now above the blue badge threshold, so Archer A must obtain and submit another score over 530 to receive the blue badge

Badges are available in white, black, blue, red, gold, and purple. The scores are dependent on bow type, as shown below:

STUDENT UNION COLOUR AWARDS

Every year, the Students Union holds Colours Ball - an awards ceremony to celebrate club and individual achievements. Aside from individual awards, the club is able to put forward members for Full Colours and Half Colours - ultimately, the decision is made by the Colours Committee of the Students Union.

The Colours Committee are looking for students who have gone above and beyond what is required of them and demonstrated unparalleled dedication to their club. Holding an important club position is not an automatic qualification for Club Colours.
